Model train collectors, Amtrak aficionados, and most railway employees find our Train Station Clock interesting. A train station clock provides a standard reference of time to both passengers and railway staff, and they can be found in a variety of places in the station including on the concourse, inside a train shed, or facing the station platforms. Our Train Station Clock is a replica of a station platform clock from yesteryear. Mounted on a gold metal pole, the terrific timepiece comes surrounded in a rosewood case with gold trim. Like traditional timepieces, three black hands sweep across the Roman numerals printed on the clock’s white face to indicate each hour, minute, and second. A rosewood base acts as a platform to support the clock and it also provides an ebony engraving plate. Our experienced engravers will place up to three lines of text on the plate free of charge. Our Train Station Clock (item BC1000) makes a great gift for railway retirees or anyone wrapped up in the romance of riding the rails!
