On May 1st 2011, after 10 long years since the 9/11 attacks, it was finally announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed. According to officials, a 40 man Navy SEALs squadron raided bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan at 3:30 pm on Sunday. Thankfully the raid was swift, took only 40 minutes and they didn’t run into any trouble with the local authorities. This is great news for our military and our intelligence agencies.
Chants of “USA! USA! USA!” rang out all over the nation including Times Square and numerous military bases that are placed all over the world. This information has instantly raised our nation’s moral and people are very excited about the work our military is doing around the globe.
