Acid etching of glass, also known as “frosting”, is a process invented in the 1800’s. It gives a frosted, etched finish in delicate tones of white and diffused shades and is capable of producing very intricate patterns. In a Victorian building, frosted glass was normally used in the entrance way and was sometimes repeated in suitable windows in the rest of the structure. It gave a luxurious and expensive feel to rooms. We have brought this lavish form of decoration to our line of trophies, and we now offer our Frosted Panel Silver Trophy Cup. A silver cup has several white frosted panels surrounding the trophy. The award rests on a plastic stem mounted to a black plastic base. This grand award comes in five different sizes ranging from 11” (CMC701S) to 17.5” (CMC705S). We offer free engraving on all five sizes. Our design team can place up to four lines of text on the engraving plate attached to the base. An excellent award for everything from quiz team tournaments to athletic competitions, our Frosted Panel Silver Trophy Cup makes a terrific trophy for many events.
