A Graduation Collage Photo

The arrival of spring signals that the academic calendar will soon come to a close. Students will graduate from high school and college. Teachers will be recognized for meritorious years of service. Administrators, faculty, and staff will retire from educational institutions across the nation. As the school year winds down, the need for a variety of awards increases, and Hit Trophy can help you fulfill those needs.

Great Gifts for Graduates Come from Hit Trophy!

A graph by GradNation showing that since 2011 through 2020 graduation rates have risen to an all-time high of 90% of all High School Students.

Graduation rates have climbed from 79% in 2011 to 90% in 2020!

According to a January 2019 article in U.S. News, graduation rates were up in 2017, the latest year for which the Department of Education has compiled data. The article states that nearly 85% of high school seniors graduated during 2017, and about 3.6 million high school students will graduate during the 2018-19 school year. The Department of Education expects the graduation rate to continue to increase as much as 1% per year through 2020.  This is great news for students, parents, and educators around the United States. Besides presenting all those diplomas, how should a local Board of Education salute the extraordinary efforts of the school district’s valedictorian and salutatorian? Give a gift to the valedictorian and salutatorian that will last a lifetime!

We at Hit Trophy suggest presenting one of our outstanding awards for those academic achievers. For example our Crystal Book Award features a clear crystal book shape which is perfect for the person who has perused many textbooks. The front cover of the award has ample space for engraving. Along with the recipient’s name and date, place an inspirational quote or words of wisdom on the award. This award comes in two sizes (CRY1555M = 3.75″ x 5″ and CRY1555L = 4.5″ x 6″), so one size can be presented to the valedictorian and the other size to the salutatorian.

Hit Trophy Has Distinctive Awards for Educators

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, over 3 million administrators, faculty, and staff members worked in education this past year. Many of those will celebrate benchmarks in their careers this year. Some will celebrate five, ten, or more years of service this June. Others will make great contributions during the year to their school districts.  All deserve recognition for their hard work. Salute their service with a special award from Hit Trophy!

Book Clock BC69

Present educators distinctive awards at the end of the school year. Two fantastic accolades from Hit Trophy include our Book Clock and our Photo Book Clock. Item BC69, our Book Clock, will be proudly displayed on any librarian, teacher, or counselor’s desk. The open award has a black brass plate, and we will happily engrave the schools’ logo and your words of appreciation on the plate. The clock on the right side features a gold spun dial with three hand movement.  Our second possibility, our Photo Book Clock (RWS35), features a silver clock with black accents and a silver engraving plate for personalization on the right side, while on the left side is an area for a 3″ x 5″ photo of family members. This photo frame and clock combo makes a wonderful way for industrious instructors to remember their loved ones while at work.

Retiring Educators Deserve Accolades from Hit Trophy

The website Smart Asset claims most people in the field of education will retire at the age of 59, although studies have shown most professors will teach beyond that age. For those professors, principals, or other academic professionals who will be retiring at the end of the current semester, we offer two tremendous retirement gifts.

Book Clock BC57

Our BC57 Large Book Clock makes a handsome accolade for any recently retired individual. While closed, admirers will revel in its hand rubbed mahogany finish. The hinged award opens just like a book to reveal a black engraving plate on the left side. Our graphic artists will gladly engrave a school crest, insignia, or mascot on the plate in addition to ten lines of text. A beautifully inset gold clock rests on the right side of the book. The gold clock displays time with second, minute, and hour hands, and the numbers are in Roman numeral style. The second ideal retirement gift, our Walnut Book Clock (WC36), is handcrafted from American Walnut. This beautiful gift mimics the shape of an open book and comes complete with a gold clock with a three hand motion and a 3” x 5” black engraving plate that provides plenty of space for personalization. Give either gift to recognize the hard work and dedication that a teacher, principal, or superintendent has displayed during their career.
